Charging and Balance an RC LiPo Battery Pack
As the RC Lipo battery cell is surely the best because of its cell charging capacity it is the best choice in the market. Its batteries with full charge run up to 40% more than a normal battery.
The charge is a continuous process and should not be stopped before a cell voltage of 4.2V is got. At this point it is only 70% charged. After this the current is reduced to maintain the 4.2V steadily till it is fully charged. This process allows a steady functioning of the battery for a longer time.
Life in multiple cells can be balanced using two conditions. There are two kinds of mismatches in the pack, one the State-of-charge known as the SOC and the other the capacity or energy or C/E mismatch. The SOC mismatch is more common.
So in this case the Open Circuit voltage is the best choice. But in the case of an out of balance pack, all the cells can be charged differently to the fullest capacity. Subsequently this runs without any additional adjustments.
